Third Lesson: What did you do at the weekend? and let's sing for a while. (February 23rd & 24th)

How do you do over there?
What do you think of this Dragon?
Write about it in the comments section!

This is our third lesson today!

After introducing oneself... What do you do?

Usually we ask or tell people what do we do...

Ans... A "what do you do?" is a perfect "Ice-breaker":

or better yet:

What did you do at the weekend?

This is an easy but yet useful activity to start a lesson with...

Just sit in a circle, or as we do: the students stand up and the teacher begins asking to some of the students:  What did you do at the weekend? and the student responds, the teacher can choose if he corrects the mistakes at the moment or sums up the mistakes at the end of the activity.
One can also ask a student: What did you do at the weekend? and point out the student that just passed. So everyone must be paying attention in order to catch and learn everything the rest of the class did at the weekend.

Now... A fast reading.

Go through this song and circle the words you do not know,

Remember you always can look in the dictionary for the unknown words; and once you are ready... Click on the next link to listen to the song and do the exercise:
